Recap: Mountain Standard Holiday Pop-Up

Just because it's winter doesn't mean we're slowing down on doing local pop-ups and events. The setting: Mountain Standard's rad flagship store, nestled along Boulder's famous Pearl Street shopping district. It's Christmas Eve-Eve, the sun is shinning, and shoppers are hunting for unique delights to grace the stockings of their loved ones.

The story of this epic collaboration begins on a hot day in August. It was Saturday at Velorama, and we shared our cold brews with the good people of Mountain Standard-- fellow Denver Flea vendors and purveyors of legit outdoor gear and apparel. They loved our brews. Fast-forward a few months later and they're opening their flagship store in Boulder. With holiday shopping in full swing, we had an idea: let's do a pop-up. We'd provide caffeinated inspiration to holiday shoppers, and Mountain Standard would provide a stage for us to introduce our coffees to the people of Boulder. Boom!

Needless to say, it was a fantastic day. Andrew served-up endless samples of delicious craft coffee, and the awesome staff at Mountain Standard welcomed us with open arms. We featured our Mint Melt-Away cold-brewed for 20 hours via our Cold Brew Bags, and our Beach Bum Blondie freshly prepared via French press. We also debuted a our mini pop-up setup, perfectly sized and outfitted with all the essentials. At 4ft wide, we can take this setup pretty much anywhere-- and we intend to.

If you haven't been to the Mountain Standard shop, I highly recommend dropping by-- they've got a well-crafted collection of gear, apparel, and goods, and create a welcoming vibe with perks like bloody mary's and tasty bites to savor while you peruse the store. All said, it was a successful day and we'll definitely be back soon.
